What to eat after dialysis
Here is the diet chart information for dialysis patients, if you want to stay healthy after dialysis then follow the following diet.
Dialysis patients should include light food in their diet. Include the following grains, vegetables, fruits and pulses in your diet chart.
Cereals – wheat, rice , cereals or bread
Lentils – Moong Dal
Vegetables – Onion , Cabbage , Cucumber , Tinda , Parwal , Bitter gourd, Gourd , Torai , Pumpkin , Radish , Cucumber, Kundru , Capsicum etc.
Fruits – Red Grapes , Pomegranate , Papaya , Strawberry , Pineapple and Nutmeg etc.
Other food – garlic , coriander , mint , olive oil , sunflower oil etc.
What should not be eaten after dialysis
Dialysis patients should not include heavy diet foods in their diet. You should avoid the following cereals, vegetables, fruits and pulses in the dialysis diet chart.
Cereals – new grain, new paddy, flour
Lentils – Urad Dal , Peas , Kabuli Chana , Rajma and Soybean
Vegetables – tomato , beans, potato , jackfruit , brinjal , colocasia , okra and peach
Fruits – bananas , unripe mangoes , berries , dates , plums , raisins , and kiwis
Other food – oily and spicy food, oil, jaggery , samosa, pakodi, paratha, chaat, papad, sour food, bakery products, dry vegetables, malpua, chickpeas, cold food, curd, khoya, mawa, non- vegetarian , alcohol , smoking more salt and honey
Eat meat after dialysis
Meat is rich in protein and dialysis patients are also advised to take protein daily. That’s why you should eat egg , fish and chicken etc. for protein . It is beneficial for you.
Diet Chart Dairy Products for Dialysis Patients – Dairy products to Dialysis Patient Diet Chart In Hindi
Dairy products in the diet chart for dialysis patients should include ½-cup milk or ½-cup curd or 26 grams of cottage cheese per day . Most dairy foods contain a lot of phosphorus . Therefore, they should be used only in limited quantity. It is rich in protein.

Potassium is found in some amount in almost all vegetables, but there are some vegetables which contain high amounts of potassium, so the consumption of these types of vegetables should be completely avoided. A ½-cup portion of low-potassium vegetables should be included in your dialysis diet each day.
Broccoli , cabbage , carrots , cucumber , eggplant , garlic , green beans, and onions can be consumed in limited amounts. Apart from this, in case of dialysis, a person should avoid the consumption of potato , tomato and tomato sauce , pumpkin , asparagus , avocado, beet and cooked spinach etc.
Avoid For Dialysis Diet Nuts And Beans
Protein is found in peanut butter, nuts, seeds, dried beans, peas and lentils; these foods are not recommended for inclusion in the dialysis diet because they contain both potassium and phosphorus . There are high levels.
Do not consume salt and sodium in dialysis – Avoiding Dialysis Diet Is Salt And Sodium In Hindi
Less salt should be used in the diet and salty foods should be consumed in less quantity. This can help control blood pressure and control weight while under dialysis . Use herbs, spices and low-salt-tasting foods in place of salt. Avoid consuming salt made of potassium.

Dialysis patients should follow their diet chart plan in the following way.
monday diet plan
Breakfast at 8 am – One cup oats upma, vegetable, one cup milk and one cup tea
Mid-day meal at 11 am – 100 grams of muskmelon
Lunch at 2 pm – Potato brinjal vegetable, two rotis, one bowl of rice, one bowl of pulses and one glass of buttermilk
4 pm – Three breads, sandwich, 50 grams of avocado and a cup of green tea
Dinner at 8 pm – Three rotis of wheat, jowar, millet mix with gourd vegetable, half cup vegetable soup
tuesday diet plan
Breakfast at 8 am – 3 dosas with half a cup of sambar, 1 tablespoon of fenugreek chutney, 1 cup of toned milk and 1 cup of tea
Mid-day meal at 11 am – eat four strawberry fruits
Lunch at 2 pm – Four rotis with green peas curry, half a cup of lentils and a glass of buttermilk
4 pm – One cup of boiled gram with lemon and one cup of green tea
Dinner at 8 pm – three rotis with bhindi curry and a bowl of salad
wednesday diet plan
Breakfast: 8 am – a glass of skim milk and half a cup of oats
Midday meal at 11 am – 100 grams papaya
Lunch at 2 pm – Two rotis with half a bowl of gourd curry, one bowl of rice and lentils, one glass of buttermilk
4 pm – Pop corn without salt and a cup of tea
Dinner at 8 pm – 1/2 cup kanduru curry, a bowl of rice and a bowl of salad
thursday diet plan
Breakfast at 8 am – 4 idlis with half a cup of sambar, a spoon of coconut chutney and a cup of milk
Mid-day meal at 11 am – eat a guava
Lunch at 2 pm – Tuna fish with two rotis, a bowl of rice and half a cup of Ramja curry
4 pm – Three biscuits and a cup of creamy milk
Dinner at 8 pm – Three chapatis with half a bowl of zucchini curry and half a cup of vegetable salad
friday diet plan
Breakfast at 8 am – Two potato parathas with two spoons of peanut chutney and one cup of skimmed milk
Midday meal at 11 am – 100 grams of pineapple
Lunch at 2 pm – 1/2 bowl beans curry and 1/2 bowl capsicum , 4 rotis with paneer curry and a glass of buttermilk
4 pm – Cup of green tea with a handful of peanuts, almonds, walnuts
Dinner at 8 pm – 1/2 bowl raw banana curry with 1/2 bowl rice and 1/2 bowl salad
saturday diet plan
Breakfast at 8 am – Vegetable sandwich with four whole wheat bread pieces, cucumber, tomato , onion , lettuce and a cup of skimmed milk
Midday meal at 11 am – eat an apple
Lunch at 2 pm – half a bowl of beans curry, half a bowl of arbi vegetable with four rotis and a glass of buttermilk
4 pm – Half a bowl of moong dal and a cup of green tea
Dinner at 8 pm – Three rotis with half a bowl of tinda curry and half a cup of vegetable salad
sunday diet plan
Breakfast at 8 am – One bowl of wheat upma with vegetables and one cup of skimmed milk
Mid-day meal at 11 am – a small slice of watermelon
Lunch at 2 pm – Tuna fish curry, two rotis with cabbage and green peas curry, one bowl of rice
4 pm – Half a bowl of sweet potato salad and a cup of green tea
Dinner at 8 pm – 1/2 bowl bitter gourd curry, 1 cup rice and 1/2 cup vegetable salad
